Teri Temme was a self-identified jerk at work before she realized it was her – not them. It is so important to put yourself in environments that are right for you. Using your strengths at work is a crucial part of making that step towards an integrated and full career. We need to do better in our educational systems to teach kids how to make better decisions when it comes to work and college majors. I don’t know about you, but I received zero instruction on the importance of that single choice. More programs that allow students to “try-out” jobs is also key. We can’t know what we like until we try it! Teri is now happily teaching others about making the right choices and being happy at work. It has been a long journey but one that had many lessons to learn. Teri is grateful for each lesson and hopes to pass on some of her gained wisdom to others.
